We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to Aberdeen City Health and Social Care Partnership for their generous support and funding.
Your funding has enabled us to hold a football and other outdoor games session, and this time, our young people chose a mixed football match โ boys and girls playing side by side.
We saw teamwork on the pitch, but also real moments of connection, inclusion, and shared joy that brought together local Torry youths and minority ethnic young Scots unfolding.

These sessions provide a safe and inclusive environment where participants can connect, share experiences, and build lasting friendships. โค๏ธ
Reflecting on the dayโs impact, Augustina Ezea, one of the volunteers in Aberdeen said โBeing part of this initiative has been incredibly rewarding. What stood out to me wasnโt just the football - it was the laughter, the high-fives, the encouragement between players who had never met before. Watching girls and boys, from different backgrounds, playing side by side with confidence and joy reminded me why this work matters. As a volunteer, I saw how much young people just want to be seen, heard, and included. This session gave them that space. It was more than a game; it was a step toward real friendship, trust, and community.โ
Thank you, Aberdeen City Health and Social Care Partnership, for making this possible. Your support has had a profound impact on our community, promoting inclusivity, health, and connection among our young people.
